He is preceded in death by his mother Mary Dooley, his father Carleton Dooley, and brother Michael Dooley.
He is survived by his husband Harry Altepeter, son Jonathan (wife, Nancy), sister Mary Fuller, Kathleen Wolford, and brother Carleton and two grandchildren, Jackson and Kennedy.
Patrick was proud to be a part of various non-profits as well as community organizations. He was known for his philanthropic spirit and enjoyed helping others.
A visitation will be held on December 20, 2023 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 700 W 38th Street Indianapolis, IN, with a service to follow at 1PM. Patrick will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery.
The family will be hosting a Celebration of Patrick’s Life, immediately following the burial service, at the Woodruff Place Town Hall, 735 Woodruff Place East Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46201. Light refreshments will be available.
