Patsy C. Sullivan, 92, Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025. She was born on December 8, 1932, in Baltimore, Maryland to William T. and Dorothy M. Care. She graduated from Patterson Park High School, Baltimore MD in 1951 and Purdue University (BS Home Economics) in 1956.
Patsy met George H. Sullivan at Purdue, and they were wed in Baltimore on June 16, 1956.
She enjoyed gardening, sewing and doing crafts, both worked for and was active in Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, played piano/organ at several churches over the years and along with husband George, took part in Builders For Christ.
She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, George, her parents, brother Herman T. Care, grandson Michael Gleitz and great-granddaughter Emily Sullivan.
She is survived by son Rick Sullivan of Pickerington OH, daughter Bonnie Gleitz (Dale) of Fort Worth TX, 7 grandchildren: Jennifer Brown (Kevin), Bryan Sullivan, Kevin Sullivan (Taylor), Stephen Gleitz (Brittany), Troy Sullivan, Brandon Gleitz, Sean Sullivan and 5 great-grandchildren: Finlee, Layken, Myla and Austen Brown and Madison Sullivan.
A visitation for Patsy will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Crown Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46208, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1484 W. Main Street, Carmel IN 46032.
