Patty graduated high school from St. Agnes Academy. In her younger years she was a member of the Indianapolis Ski club, taking frequent trips to Michigan. Patty had a love for photography. She worked for the Star News for 45 years, covering the Indy 500 race every year as well as the fashion shows in New York. She received numerous awards for her photos, and she was known to be quite the daredevil when it came to taking her pictures. Patty wasn't afraid to do anything, just as long as the picture turned out great.
She loved music and dancing, and was always having a good time with her family.
Patty is survived by her sisters; Eleanor Stewart and Kay Deck (Charlie), her nieces and nephews, whom she treated and adored as if they were own kids; Mary Kay Curran, Joanie Newby, Mike Stewart, Nancy Herber, Julie Thomas (Vince) and Andy Deck (Chanda). She also leaves behind 16 great nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.
In addition to her parents Patty was preceded in death by her brother-in-law; David Stewart.
The family would like to thank Traditions at Solana for their wonderful care of Patty over the last 9 1/2 years.
