

Age 94, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2022. Paul was born in Indianapolis to Frank Reiss and Pearl Clemenz Reiss on March 23, 1927. After returning home from WWII he worked alongside his father in the family-owned blacksmith shop, started by his grandfather in 1886. Paul, later added ornamental and steel fabrication and was the owner of Reiss Ornamental & Structural Products for 67 years until he retired in 2016. Paul was a member of First Christian Church of Noblesville, Indiana. He was a member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis, and a 50 year member of the William Prather Masonic Lodge. Paul enjoyed the things in life, his home, family and fishing.
Paul is predeceased by his mother, father, sister Shirley Dalstrom, and daughter, Susan Daugherty. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Waneta (Bonnie), his daugthers; Carol (Greg) Hoover of Winston Salem, NC, Cathy Grimes of San Jose, CA, Ruth (Tom) Kite of Morgantown, IN, and son Mark (Allie) Trader of Whiteland, IN. Niece, Julia Dahlstron Siciliano of Pittsboro, NC. He loved all 13 grandchildren; Marsha Bacigalupo, Shelly Phelan, Jennifer Frye, Mary Gainey. Kristian Roll, Blake and Ezra Kite, Brittany and Philip Daugherty, Monica and Michael Trader, Alyssa Barger and Shelby Copeland, and 20 great-grandchildren.
Viewing for Paul will be Friday, February 4, 2022 from 4pm to 8pm at First Christian Church of Noblesville, 16377 Herriman Blvd, Noblesville, IN 46060. Funeral will be held at the church on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 11am with visitation one hour before service.
After the funeral service, a meal for the family will be served by the women of the church, before departure to Paul’s final resting at Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
