Obituary of Paul Ware
Paul C. Ware Jr. was born to the late Paul C. Ware Sr and Gussie Spearman-Ware on January 21 ,1933 In Dalton,Georgia. Paul was the oldest of 15 children, 9 of which preceded him in death. Nathanial, Dorothy,Charlotte,Spearman,William,Joseph, Sarah and Janet. At a young age Paul professed his faith in Christ at Hopewell Baptist Church where he was baptized in the Chattahoochee River. Paul continued his service as a head deacon at First Baptist West Indianapolis ( Later to be named Cornerstone of Hope) and Abundant Faith Church. Paul attended Crispus Attucks and later joined the U.S. Army. During that time he married Jessie Hunt in 1951. From that union of 16yr came one daughter Karen Jean Ware-Randolph. Preceding the death of his first wife he later married Helen Shively-Cook Ware in in 1967. They were married for 45yr until her death in November 2012. After Paul was honorably discharged from the Army, He went on to work and excel in the field of construction where he operated heavy machinery equipment and later retired in 1994. Paul was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, garden, and just spend time outside. He also loved talking on his C.B as the DutchMaster where he was frequently known to call someone a “Mud Duck” and let them know he was “Back out Quite”. Paul also loved singing with the traveling male chorus and in church where his voice was easily identifiable as the loud strong baritone. Paul also loved to have his wednesday night men’s bible study, and breakfast on thursday mornings. No matter what he was going through he would always say he was “Blessed, Highly favored and then some”. Later on in life with the loss of his second wife Paul was able to find companionship and friendship in a special friend Juanita Greenlee. Paul departed this life on Sunday May 16th, 2021 at the age of 88. leaves to cherish in his memory: Daughter,Karen Randolph; Grandchildren; Deanna (Tony), Robert, Jessica, Carlon, Brittney and Tonya (Carl), Maurice, Tina Gathier . Great Grandchildren; Tyler Owens, Kiara, Kaden Williams, Dominique Randolph. 7 Great grandchildren. Honorary Son Issac Smith (Tammy) God Daughter; Anita Woolridge (Ellis) Siblings; Gussie (Sam), Matthew (Noreen), Daniel (Beulah) Carmilla (Roger) and David. A Host of Nieces, Nephews, Relatives and the many lives he touched during his lifetime.
