Peggy Elizabeth Harris, age 95, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on October 23, 2026, in Indianapolis. Born on January 27, 1931, in Rushville, Indiana, Peggy was the daughter of Roydon Bundrant and Beulah (Easley) Bundrant. She attended school in Richmond, Indiana, and carried forward the steady determination and quiet strength that marked a life defined by commitment, responsibility, and care for others.
In the 1960’s, Peggy married Robert (Bob) Harris. Together they were happily marriage until his death in the late 1980’s. Peggy worked her entire life and held numerous jobs, including positions with the U.S. Federal Finance Center, Nursing, and with Wm. H. Block Co. Peggy was also an active and dues-paying member of The Order Of The Eastern Star, Adah Chapter #21.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Roydon and Beulah Bundrant, and by her husband, Robert Harris. She is survived by a host of family and friends.
A visitation for Peggy will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, IN 46208. A Celebration of Life will follow at 12:00 P.M. with Rev. Mervin Jones of Mt. Carmel Church officiating. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
