

Perry E. Tyler, age 71, of Noblesville, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at his home. Perry was born October 25, 1950 in Plymouth, Indiana. He graduated from Nappanee High School in 1969 and then joined the United States Air Force in December of 1969.
Perry was a kind and gentle soul who took great pride in serving his country. He married Sally L. Price on June 13, 1979. He served in the Air Force until October of 1991. He had been stationed at Plattsburg AFB, NY, Anderson AFB, Guam, Grisssom AFB, IN, Anderson AFB, Guam, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC and finally at Kunsan AB, Korea. Perry retired on September 30, 1991. He then continued to work as a civilian after military retirement with Lowe’s, Furniture Factory in NC, then moved back home to Indiana in 2001 where he worked for Staples in Carmel and then Sallie Mae in Fishers. Perry also worked at St. Francis Hospital as a Printer Technician and Manager. He then worked at Cabela’s at Hamilton Town Center finally retiring in 2014. He enjoyed fishing at state parks and designed and made doll high chairs, cradles, rocking chairs and swings for dolls. He was naturally crafty and was good at drafting too. He enjoyed many hours in his wood shop over the years.
Perry is survived by his loving wife, Sally L. Tyler; three beloved children, Tonya Kay (Tyler) Logan of Blackey, KY, Tina Marie (Tyler) Wilson of Peru, IN and Seth John Tyler of Noblesville, IN; five grandchildren and two-great-grandchildren and sister, Katherine “Kitty” (Tyler) Pippinger of Milford, IN.
Perry was preceded in death by his infant sister Karen Sue Tyler and parents, John Howard Tyler and Mary Lou Hochstetler.
A visitation for Perry will be held Monday, December 13, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary, 2126 E 71st St, Indianapolis, Indiana 46220, followed by a celebration of life at 4:00 PM.
