After a long and hard fought battle, heaven has a new angel…. Philip E Johnson “Mickey” passed away on July 3, 2016. He was born April 2, 1934 in Rushville Indiana, where he lived before making Indianapolis his home. There he would ultimately marry the love of his life, Myrtle Johnson. “Mickey” is loved by all that had the privilege to know him especially his family. He will join in heaven, his parents, William and Mary Johnson, sisters Willa Mae Brown, Betsy Broadnax, and Henrietta Williams, brothers, Peter, William Jr, and Frank Johnson and sons, Richard, Leroy and Jerry. He is survived by his beloved wife Myrtle, sister, Mary Alums, daughter, Patricia, sons, Harry, Albert (Elaine), William (Rachel) and Philip Johnson, grandchildren, Stacey (Paul), Kelley, Rick, Antoine, Lakeysha, Jerry Jr and Jamie and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends and family
