You will truly be missed Phil.  Rest in peace my friend.

I never knew anyone like Phil.  His laugh was infectious, and he did it a lot. Having been the butt of many of his jokes, I often wondered why was I laughing along with everyone else?  The answer is that he cared and wanted to share one of his many gifts with me.  Sometimes maybe he shared it too much but it was all out of love.  They say you die the day no one remembers you. If this is true then Phil will be around for a long time to come. I miss and will never forget you.

Phil will be greatly missed. I worked with Phil for several years, and I always enjoyed our conversations about fishing, pool, kids, and life. Condolences to little Phil, Jennifer, and all the family.

I'm so sorry to hear of Phil's passing.  I worked with Phil for many years within CFS at IUPUI.  Phil was always passionate, hard working and humble.  He always wanted what was best for IUPUI and I always respected and appreciated that.  He made such a great difference here!  Please know that he, and all of you, are in my thoughts and prayers.

Phil was a great friend. I use to asking his frequent for his advise on different pool cues over the years… He always looked after me and guided me with his knowledge, and his true honest heart… Phil will be missed by all of us in the pool world that had the pleasure of knowing this great and kind soul…. Big Phil was a good friend and coworker. Those of us who knew and worked with Phil at IUPUI will miss him.

Thank you God for blessing us with the best brother that Joe, Rick, Randall and Don Burba could ever hope for! For Red & Jean, our parents, Phil was the best son they could ever ask for. I am already missing him immensely and I will be forever grateful for the 55 years I was blessed with my baby brother.
He loved my kids and grandchildren like they were his own. And that was VERY MUCH! 
He became a Warrior's Warrior while maintaining a gentle, loving heart through it all.  My heart, prayers and sincere sympathy go out to his wife Jennifer, daughter Courtney, sons Phillip & Josh, granddaughters  Akasha, Ava & Raelynn and grandsons Abrien & Kingston.  He wanted very much to meet his newest soon-to-be granddaughter Parker Jean, who is being named after our Mother and is due in February. To all his old friends, new friends and co-workers, thank you for checking in on him and praying for him. He was a man like no other and we've all been abundantly blessed to have had Phil Burba in our lives. Go rest high on the mountain  dear brother, your work on Earth is done!
