

Pierre P. Sangana was born in Democratic Republic of Congo to Pierre Bodjenga and Pauline Ebeleke on June 3, 1925.
He went to school at Bolenge in Democratic Republic of Congo. He had only 2 years of college, one year in his country and one year at IUPUI in Indianapolis, IN.
He married Rosemary Marie Thomas Sangana on February 14, 1974. Pierre P. Sangana worked as a bank employee back home in the Congo for many years. After a successful career as a bank employee, he decided to use his knowledge of the English language to serve his church in Europe and the USA. He was a member of the Church of Christ which had its headquarter in Indianapolis. Later, Pierre converted to Seventh Day Adventist Church and kept his faith until his passing.
Pierre. P. Sangana worked for an insurance company and received a salesmanship award.
Pierre P. Sangana is preceded in death by his first wife Marie Liliane Nyangolona, Rosemary Marie Thomas Sangana 2nd wife, his father Pierre Bodjenga, His mother Pauline Ebeleke,
His brothers Joseph Ndjoli, Jean-Philip Bodjenga, Samuel Ikinda; Joseph Ngubi, his sisters Pauline Bandjimele, Ida Brigitte Hulda Bolangi; his first son Didier Elomola Sangana, his daughter Liliane Ekila Sangana.
Pierre P. Sangana is survived by his sons Georges Yobo Sangana and Charles Karl Yonde Sangana; daughters Alice Elonge Sangana, Evelyne Lina Ebeleke Sangana, Julie -Agnes Marie Epele Sangana, Aimee Marie-Katherine Okumabi Weston [ Homer- spouse], Grace Marie-Astrid Nyangolona Sangana; sister Josephine Ikinda Batekoi. 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 o’clock on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at Crown Hill Funeral Home with Pastor Chaka Samuel of the East Side Seventh Day Adventist Church, officiating. Burial will be on Monday, May 18, 2026, at 12pm at the Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Crown Hill Funeral Home.
