Robbie was a true angel on Earth. Brilliant, kind, funny, and one of the best human beings I have ever met. I have not lived in Indiana for many years, but I think often about this wonderful young man. I loved you, Robbie. I cannot imagine the terrible pain for your family and anyone whose life you touched.

Dear Singh family.  I’m so sorry for your loss. Robbie was always “Jay’s sweet little brother” to me, and I believe a “tag—a-long” at Cub Scout day camp.  I have fond memories of all the Singh family. May you find joy in you own memories. Kitty Curran ( Chad Curran’s mom)

Dear Uncle, Aunty and Jay,

Robbie was one of the kindest souls we ever knew if not the kindest. This whole world is suffering a major loss to lose such a human being. 

We were heartbroken to hear of his passing. We know how strong his faith was in Waheguru even when life became very challenging for him.

Anyone who crossed paths with him even for a moment in time was in fact graced by The Guru Himself. That is how pure Robbie’s soul was and how connected he was to Waheguru. 

May Waheguru meet all your needs in this most difficult time.

I know with all my heart, soul, mind and body that Papa must have pushed his way through the crowd to the front of the line to meet Robbie as he entered the heavens to get his long overdue JHAPPI from him. I know Papa and many others are thrilled and overjoyed to welcome Robbie into the heavenly realm. 

Robbie will always be remembered and never ever forgotten.

Dear KP and Janice,

I have finally gathered enough courage to acknowledge the passing away of our dear son Robbie. The shock is beyond comprehension and the pain is excruciating and unbearable. I have no idea how you are confronting this grim reality and no words of solace, understanding or comfort can help.

All I can accept is that we were destined to have Robbie for a short but precious period of time in our lives but what an impact he has left for us. We witnessed the child grow up to be a very loving man dedicated to scientific discovery in medical science. My friends and I surrounded your family as ours while growing up in Indianapolis. Robbie’s kindness, perseverance, pursuit of knowledge and the arts, and love for his family and friends, shall remain his legacy. He devoted his adult life to ensuring better health for mankind. I even had the unique opportunity to work with him professionally and organize a research report about Clinical Trials.

Today, the scriptures do not give me an answer to convey to you. It is a travesty of justice. Even Time will not heal this hurt. All we can do is to relive the great moments of his life and feel blessed that he was our Krishna. May your wisdom and spirituality be a source of strength to endure the inevitable.      KPji, we met in the lounge of Quality Inn motel on 38th Street across from Indiana State Fairgrounds on a Sunday morning in 1968. My apartment was around the corner & I had stopped by to pick up Sunday Indianapolis Star. You had just come from Michigan to start a new life as a Senior City Planner in Indianapolis. 
    We have been friends from that day forward, the lives of our families have been intertwined. Our kids grew up together. We shared countless teas, coffees, meals, holidays. Also hugs & tears! Jay & Rob have been like our kids. Rob has been a gentle, loving, very bright kid. We will miss him.

I'm so sorry to hear of Robbie's passing.  He was such a sweet person, kind and loving and happy.  It's hard for me to share just one memory.  Instead I have two decades of warm memories shared with Robbie and your family.  Memories of Halloween Trick or Treating, Thanksgivings, Christmases, and just hanging out. Uncle KP & Auntie Janice -  It’s been a huge blessing to have known you and Robbie nearly all my life. I am so sorry for this incomprehensible loss. Robbie was a beautiful, kind and intelligent person. I fondly remember Robbie and my grandpa Richard talking science and having highly intelligent discussions (that I couldn’t follow). Most recently I appreciate the strength Robbie exhibited to attend our wedding in 2019. It meant so much to me that you were all there. We are here for you and will do anything to help.
