"This is the day that the Lord hath made. I will rejoice and be glad in it."
That's how Rachel lived her life...full of joy, full of faith and she shared that joy and faith with everyone she came in contact with. We are all better for knowing her. We have all been blessed because the Lord's love shone through her. I don't think I've ever met a more amazing woman!
Your work is done here, faithful servant. It is up to the rest of us to carry it on. We will carry you forever in our hearts and continue to lift your precious family up in our prayers.

I will miss you dear cousin, Rachel. Rachel had a smile that lit up a room and a personality so full of passion. I remember even as a little girl she always made me feel so very special. My deepest sympathy to Aunt DeeDee and Uncle Don, and to my very sweet cousins, Melissa and Becky and to her loving husband Scott & son Donny.

I am so sorry to hear of Rachel's passing. I wish I could be there but know that I am with your family in spirit and everyone is in my thoughts of prayers. I often wonder what my life would have been like without Rachel in it. I know I havent stayed in constant contact with the family over the last few years but all of you played a role in the woman I have become! I lost my dad to cancer of the 20th of this month and he too had young children, Alex is 9yo and Olivia is 7yo. I hope God's love wraps his arms around your family and you find some comfort in you loss.

We got to meet Rachel through Donny. Our role is usually that of teaching, but we feel that Rachel has taught us so much more-- strength, optimism, endurance, and unconditional love as a parent. We will miss her!

Rachel's smile and gentleness will be how I remember her. She and her family have touched my heart forever. Their transparency, testimony of faith, and the ability to accept the offers of love and support were blessings that I am thankful for.
We grieve because of our loss here on Earth...but knowing the peace, comfort, and happiness Rachel is now experiencing in Heaven warms my heart!
Prayers continue for the lives she touched because she will be surely missed. Her spirit lives on as we count our blessings and turn our focus to meeting the needs of others, as she often did.

My first time ever meeting rachel is when donny was in my room at imagination station, she was always a pleasure to talk to, and when she started working there i got to know her more i remember one day having a conversation i had some things going on in my life and it never failed everyday she always asked how i was doing even though she had her own fight going on. one day the conversation was how are you doing today and i told her i was hurting and i told her i was sorry i shouldnt be complaining because im sure she was hurting more than i could imagine and she told me no your fine i dont hurt God is with me and God is with you too just stay strong and everyday when i thought i wasnt so strong i thought of her and it made me stronger she inspired me with just her words. She was an amazingly inspirational woman. I was blessed to have her in my life.

I will forever have etched in my mind and heart the memory of you holding my oldest daughter Sonya as you lay in the hospital bed just weeks before your passing. You two clung to each other telling each other how much you loved each other. You meant the world to her and I know she was a special little girl to you too. She smiles at the thought of you dancing with her great grandparents. Can't wait to see you on the other side!
