His parents and wife preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Dante Pounds, Ralph Pounds, brothers, Jerry Pounds, Allen Pounds, Tyrone Pounds, sisters, Jessie M. Vandever, Effie Dixon, Juanita Pounds, Mary J. Dunnivan, Debra Pounds, Tonia Pounds and a host of extended family and friends.
His visitation will take place on Monday, September 22, 2014, 9am- 11am, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 11am at Capital City Seventh Day Adventist. His burial will take place in New Crown Cemetery.
