Ramona Rivers was a graduate of Joliet West High School, class of 1978. Ramona was a cheerleader at Joliet West High School. She also went to Kaye’s Beauty College and became a Licensed Beautician.
Ramona is preceded in death by her parents, Willie Jean Wells and Elbert Wells; as well as grandmother, Mamie Stokes; and grandson, Jauvyon Watson.
Ramona is survived by daughters, Kenisha Rivers and Kendra Pounds (Kennan); grandchildren, Jae’len Rivers, Nyas Watson and Nico Watson; great-granddaughter, Loyalty Watson; her siblings, Sharon Bennett, Thomas Bennett (Rhonda) and Derrick Wells.
A visitation for Ramona will be held Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, IN 46208, followed by a celebration of life at 12:00 PM.
