We bid farewell to our beloved, dearest Razia Ishaq, a loving, devoted mother who peacefully, passed away on April 25th, 2023. She radiated beautiful smiles and sunshine to everyone whom she met. Her warm and friendly personality cultivated many wonderful friendships in Indianapolis when she emigrated from Pakistan in 1970. Razia loved to knit for her friends, was passionate about poetry and music, and was an active member of I.U. Faculty Wives Club. She was married to Dr. Ishaq (deceased), professor of I.U. School of Medicine. She leaves behind two beloved children; Tehseen (Zee/spouse) and Imran (Mahnaz/spouse), 4 grandchildren Samia (Lou), Raza (Shahnaz), Mustafa and Kasim, and 2 great-grandchildren Shaan & Sophia, Amara, Amin. Razia was a beacon of light to all, always looked for hope on the horizon of the day and created her own beautiful rainbows of life. In your heart, celebrate her joy and zest for life.
