My family had the privilege of meeting and working with Ms. Rhonda. She was always looking out for my husband and brought my granddaughter all kinds of stuff. She always had a smile on her face. She will be greatly missed.

I remember when y’all use to live next door to us and you and my mom would sit on the porch and swing on the swing that you had on the porch. I also remember when you and my mom would get on me and Melissa for sneaking out of the house at night when I would spend the night. We remember when we road around in the limo with the chicken, duck and pig on top. You would say to my mom come on Elaine and y’all would jump in the car and leave. Y’all was best friends on Hamilton. We will miss you and remember the times.

Rhonda was my oldest sister. She informed me a few years back that she was now my younger sister. We both agreed that was the way it should be. She always ended every conversation the same way: “I love you.” and that always made the day brighter. She held her love for her family through good and bad. A true ray of sunshine. I love you Sis.

Where sunshine shows
a garden grows
full of flowers
fragrant and lovely
healing my soul
bringing me back
every day
to enjoy the sunshine
where it shows
and a garden grows
