Richard Dae Edwards, 69 of Brooklyn, NY passed away June 24, 2012. He was born April 16,1943 in Princeton, KY to Marcles and Ivory Bumphus Edwards, the twin of James Ray Edwards who preceded him in death. He attended Dotson High School in Princeton, KY prior to his graduation from Cripus Attucks High School in Indianapolis. He later earned his BS degree in social work at Georgetown College in Georgetown, KY. Before his retirement, he worked at Interfatih Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Richard is survived by his wife, Annie Spears Edwards, children Guy, Richard and Brandon; siblings, Ed Edwards of Toledo, Ohio, Gretha Clark, Gloria Sam and Scottie Edwards of Indianapolis. Services will be held on Saturday June 30, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke Baptist Church with the family receiving friends from 9 to 11:00 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home.
