66, of Indianapolis passed away December 23, 2011. He was born on January 29, 1945 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Charles and Thelma Snow Griffith. He worked for Iron Workers # 22 for 32 years, retiring in 2002. Richard is survived by his beloved wife Carolyn Owens Griffith, daughter Christina Griffith, sons Brian Griffith, Jim Miller, brothers Ronald, Steven and Donald Griffith, sister Marjorie Smitherman, grandchildren Steven Miller, Katelyn, Hayley Griffith, Henry Donahue. A Celebration of Richard’s life will be Sunday January 15, 2012 at 5 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church with the family receiving friends from 2 till service time.
