Richard loved spending time outdoors. He started out in the boy scouts and made his way up to the eagle scouts. Not only did he enjoy being outside, but he preferred to be out in the water. Some of his favorite hobbies include boating and water skiing. Richard graduated Tech High School and immediately began his apprenticeship to be an electrician, a career that he spent over 40 years of his life doing. He was a proud member of the IBEW Local Union 481 and the White River Yacht Club. Richard proudly helped a lot of people in AA, as well.
Richard is survived by; son Jason Hedge (Jenny); and daughter Molly Hedge (Larry North); sister Jane Jones; grandchildren; Kendall and Connor Hedge, Josephine Armstrong, and Lucien Fitzgerald, and ex wife; Judith Hedge.
In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by one brother; Daryl Hedge.
