Richard L Pack Sr.

Richard Lee Pack Sr. was born on March 2nd, 1947, in Indianapolis, IN to Arnett Pete Pack and Anna Elizabeth Walls Pack. He was educated in IPS Schools and worked for Wonder Bread and Etching Industries. Richard was an Army Veteran who served in Germany as a missile repairman. He married the love of his life Elaine Daniel on April 9th, 1974, in Indianapolis, IN. To this union, 5 children were born. Richard retired from Wonder Bread in 2011. He was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great- Grandfather. He loved traveling and spending as much time with his family as he could. Richard loved to read books and eat his sweets and could make you laugh in any situation! He was preceded in death by his parents Arnett and Anna Pack, and his sisters, Mary English, Dorothy Pack, Ida Pack, and Gloria Jean Pack. He was also preceded in death by his middle child Jason “J- buggy” Lamont Pack. In his loving memory, he leaves to cherish his wife of 50 years. Elaine Pack, his children: daughters; Tracy Lorraine Pack - Whitley (David), Sabrina Latrice Pack, sons; Richard Lee Pack Jr., (Sabrina), Brian LaMarr Pack (Threece). 15 Grandchildren; Shaterria, David, Deonna, Daevisha, Ta’ Dryell, Tyler, Mariah, Josiah, Brooklyn, Braelon, Kendall, Aeryon, Bryson, and Serenity. 6 Great-Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Richard truly loved his family and will be forever missed and cherished. A visitation for Richard will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Church of God in Christ Robinson Temple, 441 W 15th St, Indianapolis, IN 46202, followed by a Celebration of Life at 12:00 PM.
