Martha,
Needless to say, I was very saddened after learning of Rick's passing. We (Rick, you, the 337th CSH gang, and I ) had some good times that I will cherish for as long as I live. I pray that the Lord will comfort and bless you, not only in this time of loss, but beyond. I was fortunate to know him, ala Ranger Rick. I still remember the time he picked me up in Louisville to drive to Camp Shelby. He unknowingly filled up his Suburban with diesel fuel and we had to take it to mechanic I knew to have the tank drained before we could proceed to Mississippi. A great memory. Take care of yourself and blessings to you,
Jim

I am so sorry to hear of Dr Richards passing
My husband Tom and I were patients and friends of his for many years
Dr Rivard knew Tom would never come back into town so he would have Tom call him when he got out of work at 7 am and open his office to work on his teeth.
He and Tom would always “discuss” politics
Not sure who enjoyed it more Tom or Dr Rivard
He was so good to us
My prayers are with the family

Rick was my dentist for several years, a friend, played on the same softball teams, had a beer now and then and a great mentor.

one of my dearest friends! my golf buddy at Marywood CC what a great collector of lost golf especially #14. I well never forget the phone call to help haul a dead dog he found in the swimming pool. what a stinky job!!!!! it had been in the pool all winter. also i remember the exploding homemade wine in the basement of his office building...what a mess. Wonderful trips to Lakes of the North to play golf. I well miss your visits back to Michigan. Mike Cole

I had the pleasure of enjoying lunch almost every Friday with Rick for over twenty years. While we agreed about almost nothing (I am put in mind of RBG and Scalia) there was a mutual respect in the exchange that I always enjoyed. He was a man of real honor and I've thought of him often and I'll miss him. You all have my deepest condolences in our shared loss. I take some solace that Ralph is waiting for Rick and will take up the banter!
