Ricky Allen Fiene, Sr.

Ricky Allen Fiene, Sr., age 69, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023. Ricky was born in Indianapolis, Indiana the son of the late Paul and Peggy (Clendening) Fiene. He was a standout athlete at Ladoga High School earning many varsity letters and set the schools single season tackle football record with 172. He enjoyed teaching and coaching his sons at Eagledale Little League. He was also a member of the NRA loving to fish and hunt remembering family trips to Minnesota, Dale Hollow and Branson along with many turkey shoots at the Roachdale Gun Club. Rick had worked at CFS in his younger days and had worked as a pipefitter with Conrail. He retired from the City of Indianapolis after 37 years with the Department of Public Works holding the positions of supervisor, superintendent and inspector.

He is survived by his sons, Ricky Fiene, Jr. (Trisha), and Ryan Fiene (Jill); his grandsons, Noah and Will; brothers, Paul Fiene (Rebecca) and Jon Fiene. His former wife, Betty Fiene-Schneider and several cousins, nephews and nieces.

A Celebration of Ricky's Life will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Family Funeral Care, 5791 Rockville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224.

The family would like to thank his neighbors, Betty and Scotty for looking in on him for the last 15 years.
