OBITUARY
Rita R. Childs
March 11, 2007 – January 24, 2021
Rita Raynelia Childs was born March 11, 2007 to Raymond and Kezzie Childs. Being the last of the 7 children, Rita was loved and doted on by her parents, siblings and all that loved her. Some would even say she was "spoiled".
Rita was a student at Hoosier Academy. Teachers and staff described Rita as a strong leader with an ability to influence her fellow classmates in positive ways. Being an Aunt was very exciting for Rita and she loved helping her sisters and brother with her nieces and nephew. Rita had a special bond with her sisters and loved to spend time with them in their homes.
She loved traveling with her family while her brothers were on tour around the country. She was their biggest fan. Everyone that knew Rita knew that she loved the spotlight! Wherever there was a camera, please believe that Rita was nearby.
Rita was a loving cousin, loyal friend and the sweetest grandchild and niece.
Like her Mother, Rita's smile was infectious and just as big and beautiful, her smile made you smile.
Rita had goals of being an entrepreneur. Following in her Dad's footsteps, Rita started her own lip gloss line "Act Up Beauty" back in 2020.
Rita had big aspirations for herself and was looking forward to seeing what this life had to offer her. She will be greatly missed by all that loved her.
Rest now baby girl, we love you.
Rita is preceded in death by her Paternal grandmother Rita Richardson-Childs, Paternal Great-grandmother Irene Jenkins, maternal Great-grandmother Nelia Winston and Maternal Great-Grandfather Otis White.
Rita leaves to cherish 3 sisters; T’ana, Kayla and Naomi, 2 brothers; Raymond lll and Xavier, 2 nieces; Kábriélla and Zarielle, 1 nephew, Elijah Jr., 1 maternal grandmother Cathy Jones, 1 maternal grandfather Randy King, and 1 paternal grandfather Raymond Sr.
