Rita Kay Leloup

Rita was a retired secretary from Brickyard Ceramics. Prior to that she worked for the former Columbia House in Terre Haute. She was a member of Roachdale Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter # 247, and a faithful member of Crosspointe Baptist Church.

Rita is survived by her husband of 40 years, Dennis Joe LeLoup; brother-in-law Dale Jeffery, and many nieces and nephews, some by marriage; Connie Norman, Justin Market (Theresa), David Market, Pam Todd, Roger Market, Mart Jeffery, Jimmy Bever, Vicki Kremer (Kris), Bridget (Josh) Collier, Brent LeLoup, Brook LeLoup, Brittany Kuzma; adopted brother, Clifford “Skip” Stone and numerous great nieces and nephews. Rita was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Linda Jeffery and Dixie (John) Kenley, plus a longtime family friend, Cledith Hobbs.

A memorial gathering for Rita will be held Friday, January 3, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Crosspointe Baptist Church, 220 Country Club Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM.

Rita will be laid to rest in Bloomingdale Friends Cemetery, 3488 Bloomingdale Rd, Bloomingdale, Indiana 47832.
