Bob and I were Arlington Ave neighbors and went to school #85 together. I spent lots of fun days with the Armstrong boys, and spent some nights with them as well. Harry and Rosie never minded another kid around. I have a class picture 1955-1956 with Bob and I in it. I spoke with Bob a few weeks ago and we were talking of the good old days. Our prayers are with you folks at this difficult time.

I first met my good friend Bob in the spring of 1979, at the solders & sailors Home in West Lafayette. Little did I know then that 35 years later I would be writing a note like this. Dona, Like you I still can't believe  Bob is gone. God must have needed him more than us. I will miss his laugh and keeping up on the neighborhood.  We know Bob is in a much better place than we are, and he'll watch over you and yours always.  If there is anything you need, we're just a couple of houses away. Love you Dona.

Vacationing at the "HOOKABOOKA" was one of my fondest memories with Bob, Dona and the entire family. Bob had mentioned, not too long ago, that he liked that one too. We were strolling down memory lane and laughing. I will always remember feeling surrounded by care and joy in his company. He will always be a light in all of our lives.

We will miss you but your light will be with us always.
