Robert W Blake Jr. of Indianapolis passed away April 30, 2013. Born Aug. 31, 1924 to Robert and Gladys Blake. He married Gloria Schnaiter in June of 1950 and had three children. He is proceeded in death by his son Todd and sister Jane Lidikay. Survived by his wife Gloria, daughter Elizabeth Stiles, son Andrew (wife Rita), granddaughters Sarah and Mary, 3 great grandchildren, 2 nieces Anne Dorton and Linda DuPont.
Robert spent his entire career as an independent Real Estate Broker. In the1970's thru the early1980's he partnered with Bob Young to form Blake and Young Realty. Robert was a graduate of I U and has always remained an active member in his fraternity, Phi Kappa Psi. He's an Elder at North Minister Presbyterian Church. A member of The Service Club of Indiana, Broad Ripple American Legion, Boy Scout Troop 174, a Hospice volunteer and was a Master Gardner.
He loved fishing, canoeing and baked award winning pies.
He proudly served in the Navy Seabee's during WWII.
