"For He shall give His angels charge over you and keep you in all your ways."

My heart is broken for the loss of Bob; however, my heart soars knowing his is not in pain and he is with Linda. He loved his church, family, friends, golf, Rose Hulman, INDOT and so many other things. He was a blessing to me and I will miss talking, texting and e-mailing him. Bob was a friend/boss/mentor to me and I was blessed to know him.

To the family of Robert Cales:

I had the pleasure of working with Bob at INDOT> He was my direct boss and I was one of his Aministrative Assistants along with Joan Widdifield. Bob always had a smile on his face when talking about his family, especially his granddaughter and his son. He was in pain lots of time over the years, but he kept on going. He was a hard worker and a good boss. He will be missed.
I will keep all of you in my prayers and thoughts during this difficult time. Remember he is gone but not forgotten and he is with Linda now, which I know will make him happy.

Sincerely
Sheila Bonham

Bob will be greatly missed for his warm smile, and willingness to serve his church. Bob enjoyed being a Eucharist Minister at the 8:00 am Mass. Bob operated on Lombardi time, always be 15 minutes early. When serving with Bob you knew he would be early and have things well organized. Our prayers are with his family in this time of loss.
