His parents preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory, son, Robert Lee Dixon Jr. (Diane), daughter, Brenda (Baby Brenda), fiance, Gwenevere Polk-Parrish, brother, Michael Johnson, sisters, Geraldine Pickens, Katherine Walker, Evelyn Barr (Maurice), Maxine Tunstall, host of grandchildren and extended family and friends.
His visitation will take place on Monday, March 16, 2015, 11am-12pm, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 12pm at Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home, Peoples Chapel. His burial will take place in Sutherland Park Cemetery.
