Robert C. Horner

Robert C. Horner was born on april 30,1942 in Indianapolis, IN to John Henry and Anna Marie Horner. He was a graduate of Shortridge High School. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Robert served in the United States Army , shortly thereafter he wnet to work for Ford Motor Company and then became a private general contractor. Robert was a firearms aficionado , an avid drummer and a science ficton enthusiast. He enjoyed thrift shopping, gardening and spending time with his family.

Robert passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2014 He is preceded in death by parents, two sisters, Patricia Renfro and Rosalind Horner and brother John Horner.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Horner; sons, Lewis Spencer, Michael Spencer, and Samuel Seabrook; daughters, Allsion Horner and Charlotte (Horner) Woods; brothers, Lawrence Horner (Betty), Michael Horner (Wanda); sisiter Joan Orton; sister-in- law Bonnie Horner; brother-in-law Leslie Renfro; grandchildren, Jovan, Tyrice, DaQuan, Jurrell, Xiante, Kiara, Sammy, Eric, Shania, Maya and several great- granchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends,
