To Jeryl Lee, Jana, Darla, Mrs. Mason and to all the family, our condolences and deep sorrow for your loss. Jim and I will always be grateful for how Mr. Mason smoothed the way for Jim's first teaching job so many years ago. His kindness set the direction for Jim's long career in education. We were also honored by the family's attendance at our wedding in 1966!

Bob took the FTHS Ag. classes to Chicago in 1950. One of the tour stops was the Museum of Science & Industry. I never go to Chicago or pass the museum without thinking of that trip. In High School he was our class sponsor each of the 4 years. He was the one teacher closest to our ages and it was easy to relate to him. So sorry for your..(our)..loss.

To Eljean & family. I was fortunate in having Bob as a 4-H Leader, FFA Leader & Ag Teacher in the Franklin Twp. School system. I'll always be thankful for the great times on the Dairy Judging Team going to the County, State and National contest only because of Bob and his teaching lessons. He will be truly missed. Thank you Bob! David Becker

Bob and I are of the same generation of educators. I got to know him in the 60s when I was at Wayne Township and he was at Franklin Twp. I moved away, but he stayed at Franklin and built the foundation of what is one of the fine suburban school communities. As we go through life, we rub shoulders with giants, people who do their thing in their place. Bob Mason was one of those giants.
