94, of Indianapolis passed away on May 3, 2018. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on June 15, 1923 to the late William and Edna McGuire. Robert was a proud WWII U.S. Army Veteran, serving during 1943-1947. He served in Africa, Italy and France and was a Purple Heart and Bronze Star recipient. Robert is survived by his sister, Patricia Poire, niece, Stephanie Poire, nephews; Robert McGuire, Jeffrey (Deborah) McGuire, Lawrence McGuire, William (Helen) McGuire and 4 grand nieces. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the Gothic Chapel, located in Crown Hill Cemetery, with visitation from 10:30 a.m., please use the 34th Street gate entrance.
