Robert Lewis Sego

Robert L. “Bob” Sego, 89, of Indianapolis, passed away December 22, 2018. He was born in Bloomington, IN the son of the late Thurman and Laura (Hutchinson) Sego. He was a Masonry Contractor and a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He loved the outdoors and loved boating, camping, auto racing, sports, was a Colts fan, was very active in his children’s lives coaching little league for many years, he was a pilot and enjoyed flying his personal plane. He is fondly remembered by his family and friends as a jokester. preceding him in death is his wife Bertha M. (Curran) Sego; sister, Norma; brothers, Thurman, James, Walter, Bill, Lester and Donald. Bob is also survived by his friend Sunny. He is survived by his children, Tom (Donna), Steve (Mary), Mike (Marcia), Sandy (Duane), Bobby (Meme), Bill (Brandy) and Dave (Kathy); grandchildren, Angie, Heather, Tommy, Vickie, Mike, Danny, Brian, Christie, Monica, Emily, Macey, Ashley and Audrey; 24 great grandchildren; brother, Dan and his wife Margaret. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM, Friday, December 28, 2018 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7243 E. 10th St., Indianapolis, IN 46219. Visitation will be from 3-8 PM, Thursday, December 27, 2018 and Friday from 10:00 until 10:45 at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 N. Shadeland Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46219.
