Robert M. Staples

74, Noblesville, passed away February 11, 2013. He was born in Camden, New Jersey on April 18, 1938 to Earl and Doris (Titus) Staples. He served in the U.S. Navy. Robert worked for RCA as a security guard for 33 years, retiring in 1995. He was a member of Moose Lodge. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, swimming. Robert is survived by his wife Rita Elaine (Myers) Staples, children Dianne Hawara, Johnny Staples, step children John (Julie), Gene (Cindy), Mike, Bryan (Mary), Ronny (Misty) Lisa Featheringill, Sondra Hunt, sisters Phyllis Mastrangelo, Barbara Jean Rynerson, brother Walt Staples, sister-in-law Roberta Staples, 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother Earl “Bud” Staples, sister Carolyn Hess, step daughter Sandra Pettet. A memorial service will be Saturday, February 16 at 5 pm at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary. Visitation will be Saturday from 1 until service time.
