Linda we were shocked to learn about Roger, Our thoughts and prayers are with you always, Kris and Obee

Linda and Nathan-We are praying for you in this sad time.  But also happy knowing Roger is with his Lord and Savior.  Roger and I had so much fun growing up there on Dewey Street.  I remember that we often were fighting with the neighbor kids to the west of Roger's house.  We had neighborhood wars.  One time we came up with the idea of useing a tree in Roger's back yard as a sling-shot.  The tree trunk had grown in a "V" shape so we nailed a rubber bicycle tube to the tree and used it as a giant sling shot.  We shot many objects(some I cannot mention) over the fence at the neighbor kids.  We were victorious that week.  I regret that I did not go to visit with Roger in the past years.  I thought about him often.

Roger was one of the kindest men we know, and was a blessing to us; a great part of the FBC body, and a good neighbor to have.  He will be missed.  We look forward with you to seeing him again.
