
Rosemary E. Crow was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Mr. Homer and Helen Birdwell. She was educated in the Public School of 42 and attended and graduated from Crispus Attucks High School in 1936. She worked and managed her fathers business “Birdwell Chicken Shack” from 1936-1946. She was also employed for the State of Indiana for 19 years working as a Keypunch Operator. Rosemary Crow married Rueben H. Crow on April 28, 1951 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mr. Crow preceded her in death in 1983. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her Sister; Maxine Barber, Brothers; Homer Birdwell Jr. and Charles Birdwell. Mrs. Crow was a very active member of “Our Savior Lutheran Church” for many years, where she was one of the oldest members there. Mrs. Crow volunteered her service to the Heritage Place, Walter Cancer Research, and United Methodist Center. Rosemary also joined The Heritage Line Dance Group in 1994, which she was very active. On May 8, 2015 she departed her life at Spring Mill Meadows Nursing Home, where she was much loved. Those left to cherish her memory are her Niece, E. Janeen Stewart; great nephew Pastor Derrick Carpenter Sr. (Denise); great niece Shaya Rowe (David); great great nieces Jennifer Thomas (George); Jasmine Elliott (Marcus), great great nephew Derrick Carpenter Jr., and a host of friends and church family that loved her dearly.
