Rosemary Jones

Born on December 24, 1926 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Harry and Elsie Groene, died peacefully on August 12th, 2013. Rosemary and her husband Richard founded Cannon IV in 1974 which they named for their four sons. After her husband passed away in 1978 she worked for Cannon IV, retiring in 1989. Rosemary was a graduate of St. Agnes in 1944 and a current member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Rosemary has a wonderful history with St. Philip Neri Catholic Church where she was baptized, had her First Communion, graduated from grade school, married and will have her final calling with her funeral. She also attended Marian College for two years and was a proud attendee of the Marian Lunch Bunch which has been active for over 60 years. Her true Legacy will be raising four sons that all work together at Cannon IV in a wonderful atmosphere and culture the she helped to create. Rosemary is survived by her sons: Jerry (Peggy), John (Tom), Jeff (Debbie) and Jim (Michelle) Jones, 7 grandchildren: Jen, Brad, Jonathan, Lauren (Scott), Jake, Ben and Chris with 3 great grandchildren: Macy, Emerson and Norah. She is preceded in death by her husband: Richard John Jones and sisters: Dorothy Minton and Betty Ann Richey. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 14, from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary and the Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, August 15, at Noon in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery for immediate family members. Memorials in Rosemary’s name may be made to St. Philip Neri Catholic Church.
