85, of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012. She was born June 7, 1926 in Allen County, Kentucky to the late Wylie and Emma Carter. Rosie was a member of The Sanctuary and worked at Salvation Army, Tube and Processing, and Meijer. She is survived by her daughters, Doris (Ron) More and Pat (Bernie) Schumann; son, Curtis (Maggie) Johnson; sister, Corrine (Gene) Dyer; brother, Julian Carter; sisters-in-law, Wilma Holt and Ruby Kindley; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild due in May; and her peek-a-poo dog, Squeaky. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, April 18, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Little & Sons Funeral Home, Stop 11 Road Chapel, 4901 East Stop 11 Road, Indianapolis, IN 46237, where the funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. www.littleandsonsindianapolis.com
