

Rudy was born April, 1950 to Rudolph Carl and Josephine P (Grohar) and became a loving grandfather in 2015, leaving behind wonderful memories with his children and grandchildren. "We love you grampy!"
Rudy willfully served our country as a member of the United States Army Special Forces (Green Berets). He retired from the State of Illinois Department of Insurance after earning a master's degree in business administration and with over 10 years working for the Santa Fe (BNSF) railroad. Surviving family honors Rudy's love of country, intense focus, and sacrifices through his accomplishments and commitments to family.
Surviving family embraces the love, wisdom, and guidance that Rudy was able to share and pass down in his short years of retirement and journey with cancer.
Rudy is survived by his wife, Mary Ann, son, Rudy R., daughter, Nicole (Kristopher) Kritzer, and two grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2019 from 10:00am-11:30am, services at 11:30am, at Crown Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.
