

96, of Indianapolis, passed away February 3, 2017. Russel was born July 29, 1920 in Indianapolis, IN the son of the late Henry A. and Emma Weber Schull. Russ was a Mayflower truck driver in his early years and later a carpenter/superintendent for Surina/Buzek Construction Company until retiring. He could repair or fix just about anything. He was a graduate of Arsenal Tech High School Class of 1938 and a Navy Veteran serving in the Pacific Theater from 1942-45. He was a 50 year plus member of three organizations: Brookside Masonic Lodge #720, Sahara Grotto and the Indianapolis Valley Scottish Rite. He was a very enthusiastic fan of the Indianapolis 500. His love for fishing was second to none and he enjoyed his home on Marco Island, Florida, building there in the early 60’s. He is survived by his children: Jacqueline M Schull and Henry R (Mary) Schull, step-daughters Patricia (William) Gulker and Peggy Ogren, sister: Romona Zollars, companion: Hilda Myers, 7 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his second wife Martha J Moorman, step-daughter Jan Low, sister Roarta Shinkle and brother Runnels Schull. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 7, at 1 pm in Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary with visitation from 11:00 am until time of service.
