Samantha Sue Whittaker, 50 of Indianapolis passed away on Saturday, July 14th. Samantha was born on December 11th, 1967 in Indianapolis to Cecil A Link and Sharon L. Link (Barlow). She was a 1986 graduate of Ben Davis High School and was employed as a dispatcher for Securitas in addition to being a loving homemaker for her family. Samantha enjoyed her family, friends, gardening, recreational gambling, butterflies and traveling, particularly if there was an ocean at the end of the destination!
Samantha will be greatly missed by her daughter Amber Jean Lynn Sterrett (Matthew), sons William Whittaker (Trish) and Jeffrey Westbrook, granddaughters Trinity Luttrell, Emmah Luttrell, Izobella Sterrett and Lilyonna Sterrett, grandsons Gage Whittaker and Jacen Whittaker, brother Cecil Link Jr. (Michelle), sisters Juanita Jones (Randall), Phillis Kirby, Dianne Strainer (David) and Melissa Hart. Samantha was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service celebrating Samantha's life will be on Friday, July 20th, 2018 at Family Funeral Care, 5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
