Samuel Carlyle Jones, 91, Indianapolis, passed away on August 26, 2014. He was a member of Barnes United Methodist Church. He was an U.S. Army Veteran of the WWII. Been employed by U.S. Postal Service for over 30 years. In his early life he was an avid tennis player.
He leaves to cherish his memories, sons, Warren Ray George (Nicole), Stephen Carl Jones, daughters, Linda Gray, Judith Ann Dickey, Joycelyn Harden- Tinsley (William), sister, Vera Inez Lee Monger, 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
His visitation will take place on Saturday, August 30, 2014, 4pm- 5pm, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 5pm at Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home, Peoples Chapel. His burial will take place in Marion National Cemetery.
