Obituary of Sandra Jean Golden-Richardson
Sandra Golden Richardson was born December 06, 1946 to Alberta Golden and William Jackson. She attended Indianapolis Public Schools 36, 26 and graduated from Crispus Attucks High School. Sandra also attended Indiana Business College. On May 27, 1967 Sandra united in Holy Matrimony to Eddie Richardson. Sandra would say her Greatest accomplishments were her children, Kimberly, Edie and Eddie II. She was proud of their achievements. Sandra worked as a Unit Secretary at Westview Hospital. She retired 2000. At an early age, Sandra confessed Her Hope, Faith and Love in Christ. She was a member of Greater Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church. Sandra truly LOVED The Lord and Her Church. Her Godmother Aunt Kathryn and cousin Lawrence Jr would pick her up each Sunday to attend Church until her health failed. Sandra loved to dance and to attend functions with her Childhood friend Penny Williams Trotter. She also loved to read, shop, travel and to just have fun. Sandra was teased about her house cleaning. She would get up EARLY in the morning to clean house before going to work. She was ALWAYS leaving sticky notes EVERY where. Sandra was known for emptying ashtrays as soon as a cigarette was put in it. Sandra left her earthly body Thursday, January 07, 2021 at 3:39 p.m. after a well fought battle with Cancer. She was preceded in death by her father, William Jackson, step father Richard Grundy Sr., Mother, Alberta Golden Grundy Wilson, Sisters, Clara Grundy Members, Sharon Grundy, brothers, Theodore Grundy and Michael Golden. Sandra leaves to Cherish her memory daughters Kimberly (Michael) Rutland, Edie Richardson Smoot, Son, Eddie Richardson II. Caregiver, Andrea Oner, Sisters Joyce Grundy Barrow, Karen Grundy Hobbs, brother Richard Grundy Jr. Sister/Best Friend Penny Williams Trotter; Aunts: Mildred Cowherd, Delores Golden; Aunt/Godmother Kathryn Golden; Grandchildren: Nashelle J. Frazier, Anjoli Ellegan, Sandra White, Jackie Brown Jr, Jacqueline Benson, Joshua Brown, Kennedy Sides, Stephon Shelton, Jade Shelton, Gregory Montez Loving, Mark A. Smoot II, Eddie Richardson III, Rylen Richardson, Jaida Richardson; 13 Great-Grandchildren. Host of Special Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Church Family and Friends.
