

Sandra K. McCullough, widow of Edward A McCullough, died of complications related to COPD at home at 8pm August 25th, 2018. Sandra was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on October 18, 1946, the daughter of Kenneth Ferguson and Gloria Brown, then she lived in Bellingham Washington, with Gloria's new husband Jack Maier. She was active with the Salvation Army while in her youth, graduated from Bellingham High School, known for her singing and swimming, attended the University of Washington, until she met Edward at Ft. Lewis, Washington. Married Edward for 46 years, and as he was in the U.S. Army, Edward and Sandra had three boys, ( Richard, Edward, and David), during their travels. They've owned and operated a few businesses - an appaloosa horse ranch in Lawton, Oklahoma, Old Mac's Farm in De Ridder, Louisiana; and finally, The Bait Barn in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is survived by her three sons and four grand children, ( Adrianna, Vanessa, Amber, and Erin). Sandra was active in the Indianapolis community on many levels and became a co-creator of the Old Bethel United Methodist Food Pantry. Sandra was politically active in Louisiana as a Parish Election Commissioner: but, became a Reagan Republican in her final move to Indianapolis and became a Republican Vice Precinct Committeeman within Marion County's Warren Township where she served as Vice Precinct Committeemen until her death. Many of her hobbies included sewing, baking, gardening, and the outdoors. She was active in many social circles and societies including the Millersville Chapter 300 Order of the Eastern Star. OES service at noon. Services are held at Crown Hill Funeral & Cemetery, 700 West 38th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana. Viewing starts at 10:00am Wednesday, August 29th, 2018, with funeral service starting at noon
