Shannon Eileen O'Malia Hall

40, of Carmel, IN departed this life Sunday, July 27, 2014. Shannon was born October 9, 1973 in Indianapolis to Daniel J. and Rita K. (Doyle) O’Malia. She was a 1992 graduate of Cathedral High School and then earned her teaching degree from the University of Dayton in 1996. Shannon was a loving and dedicated teacher at Holy Cross and St. Matthew Catholic Schools and, for the past twelve years, at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic School in Fishers. She is survived by her children, Connor Doyle Hall and Daniel Rudolph Hall; parents Daniel J. and Rita K. (Doyle) O’Malia; sisters, Janet Lynn (Rich) Andriole and Colleen Danielle (Doug) Stine; nieces, Allison and Madeline; nephews, Nick, Jacob and Ryan and a host of grateful and beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, students, associates and friends. Visitation for Shannon will be from 3 – 8 PM on Thursday, July 31st at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic School Gymnasium. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 on Friday, August 1st at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church, 11441 Hague Rd., Fishers, IN 46038 (sldmfishers.org) with additional calling there in the school gymnasium beginning at 10:00 AM and concluding at 10:45 AM. Following Mass, all are welcome to attend a light luncheon in Craig Willey Hall. Family, close friends and staff will retire to the Parish Youth Ministry Center; family will visit both venues. Cremation follows services.
