Shawn Clifford Hinton

Shawn Clifford Hinton, age 62, of Greenfield, Indiana passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022. Shawn was born in Rushville, Indiana to William E. and Loretta K. (Dixon) Hinton. Shawn joined the U.S. Army in 1979 and retired in 2020. During his time in the Army he served in the Iraq - Afghanistan War. Shawn is survived by his wife, Nettie Hinton; children, Krystal (Chet Mills) Hinton, Kathryne (Kevin) Richardson, Kandyce (Chad Shelton) Hinton and Kolleen (Chris Alexander) Hinton; 11 grandchildren, brothers, Kimmet (Patsy) Hinton and Kelly (Janna) Hinton; Brother in Law, Marvin (Gretta) Deckard; Sister in Law, Nancy (Paul) Ferguson and many nieces and nephews. Shawn was preceded in death by his parents, William Hinton and Loretta Hinton; and brother, Shayne Hinton. A visitation for Shawn will be held Friday, December 2, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 N. Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, Indiana 46219. A funeral service will occur Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary. Shawn will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Cemetery, 700 38th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46208.
