The world lost an angel Wednesday, February 23rd, 2011, when Shelton earned the wings he needed to return to the Lord. Shelton loved life, despite the challenges he was forced to endure. He loved laughter and noise, playful chaos, and all the things being part of a large family includes. He wanted to be right in the middle of it all! He loved animals and swimming, watching his brothers and sisters play sports and cuddling up to watch Barney and SpongeBob. He also enjoyed being read to, sang to, and simply driving in the car. On the day Shelton was born, the horoscope for his birthday, October 17th, 2004, read, “Many people will be affected by the difference you make.” This could not have been more true! He has taught us all so much in his short time here on earth. Welcoming Shelton home in heaven is grandfather Roman L Stutzman. Left on earth to await the sweet day when we shall see him again, is his mother Wanda Stutzman Shelton, his father Neil Emil Hall, grandparents Shirley Joslin and Bobby and Pamela Hall, brothers Joshua, Bryan, and Neil, sisters Trisha, Alyssa, Lauren and Madison. Visitation will be Sunday, February 27 from 4 – 8 pm at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary. A Celebration of Shelton’s life will be Monday February 28, at 1 pm at the mortuary. Memorial tributes may be offered at www.feeneyhornakshadeland.com
