Shirley Francis Butler, age 66, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Shirley was born October 24, 1954 in Topeka, Kansas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Alice Butler. She loved to recall her wonderful childhood with her parents and trips to the lake for picnics and fishing. Purple was her favorite color and she liked to go to the casino. She worked in women's apparel retail stores and as an au pair caring for the family, home and cooking excellent meals. She was caring, a great listener, and a good communicator who would always share with those in need and care for people struggling with addictions. She had good sense of humor and never swore. She made many friends who will miss her dearly.
Shirley is survived by her good friend Kathleen Kinley; God sons, Brennan and Colton; and many friends especially from Crestwood.
