Shirley Ann Christian, 88, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2025. Shirley grew up in Williamsburg, Kentucky. She attended the University of Kentucky where she met the love of her life Joe Christian. After obtaining her bachelor of science degree she worked as a Medical Lab Technician.
Shirley enjoyed gardening, cooking, tennis and piano, but above all loved family and friends.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 64 years, Joe, her brother Marcus, sister-in-law, Betty, sons Charles (Liz), Roy (Anne-Marie) and beloved grandchildren, Katie, Justine, Clayton, Nolan and Josh.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Nell.
Shirley's kindness and genuine interest in others left a lasting impression on all who cherished her.
A private memorial service will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana.
