Shirley J. Oliver, 78, Indianapolis, passed away on May 14, 2014. Shirley was a retired registered nurse, having worked at Veterans, Hawley, IU and Winona Hospitals and for the Sickle Cell Foundation.
She leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life, husband, George Oliver, children, Deborah Bridgewater (Emerson) and Donna Johnson, grandchildren, Keyna Miller, Kelly Moore, Danielle Mitcham, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and a host of extended family and loving friends.
Her visitation will take place on Monday, May 19, 2014, 9am- 11am, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 11am in First Free Will Baptist Church, 2433 Barnes Avenue. Her burial will take place in Sutherland Park Cemetery.
