83, of Danville passed away on August 6, 2016. Stanley retired from Allison Transmission and served in the US Army. Stanley was also a Deacon at the Church of God-United Assembly since 1957. He is survived by his wife; Velena Spears, children; Rebecca (Les) Lucas, Gary (Susan) Spears, Theresa Bell, Rick Spears, Brenda (Pat) O’Riley and Sandy (Kevin) Turner along with 14 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his son; Stanley “Wayne” Spears.
Visitation will be held at Family Funeral Care on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 from 4-8pm. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 12:00pm with one hour of calling before the start of the service.
